Structure:
Made of thickness ≥1.2mm cold-rolled steel steel for the out layer, steel surface treated by acid-alkali-resistant and coated with epoxy resin powder. The inner layer is the anti-corrosion material.
Lining:
Lined with 5mm thick compact board (chemical resistant), segmented design, air flow pressure is maintained smoothly by teardrop-shaped baffle in accordance with aerodynamic principles.
Working surface:
Covered epoxy resin countertops or ceramic worktops with thickness ≥19mm, and the outer edge of not less than 25mm. The recessed 5mm inside disc design will collect splashes things. With high performance of anti-heat, chemical resistant.
Visual Windows:
Use 5mm tempered explosion-proof glass. lnternal uses of pituitary balancing device, can stay in any position during 0~900mm. Closure equipped with a rubber buffer.
Lighting:
Equipped with two (15W) LED energy-saving lamp. Lamp mounted on the top of hood and quarantined by the steam-proof glass cover inside the fume hood.
Transmission:
Transmission system consists of a metal sprocket, plactis chains, synchronizing shafts and other devices. Balancing system prevents sash tilting and can be one- hand controlled
Selection of the proper type of fume hood to use in a laboratory should be based upon two interrelated considerations:
1. The hood must allow the user to perform the work in a safe, efficient manner.
2. The need to reduce air conditioning cost.
The interior of the hood resists the corrosive effects of chemicals. The hood under structure should provide for storage of the required chemicals for the work being done in the hood. The total cost of a hood is greatly affected by its exhaust air requirements. The annual cost of heating and cooling the air exhausted by the hood can be as high as the initial cost of the hood itself.
Choosing the proper hood type and sash configuration can significantly reduce these costs.
